Seven divisions compete nightly, a minimum of 15 races and 3 ½ hours of wheel to wheel thrills. In 2007, Wine Spectator bestowed upon Scalo the Award of Excellence for its outstanding wine selection.  Scalo started bringing original and traditional Italian food to Albuquerque in December of 1986. Since its opening, Scalo has brought premium pasta, steaks, fish and other fine cuisine to Nob Hill, in the center of Albuquerque. Our executive chef is Steven Lemon and he has just worked over the menu to offer some new and wonderful seasonal delights - come on by and sample some of the new creations!

About Los Equipales

In late 2005, the Martinez family started on a venture to change the flavor of New Mexico. They brought true, authentic Mexican food to the heart of Albuquerque, NM's historic Nob Hill area. By introducing Albuquerqueans to Los Equipales Restaurant, the family focused on producing some of the most esteemed Mexican Sea Food flavors straight from the coast of Mexico cuisine, such as Huachinango al Mojo de Ajo, as well as central Mexican flavors such as Pollo en Mole, Carnitas de Puerco, Enchiladas Suizas, and many more mouth watering examples.

The flavor is kept fresh by changing the menu every three weeks to focus on specialty dishes from each state in Mexico. It keeps the local audience coming back to learn what they've been missing all these years.
